Brothers’ Berries is a cut branch horticulture business. Brad and Andrew Thompson are the brothers behind Brothers’ Berries. They began their cut branch business in 1991, selling cut Ilex verticillata branches at Christmas time. ‘Winter Red’ and ‘Maryland Beauty’, both heavy berrying varieties, comprise the bulk of their stock plants. Over the years they have expanded the number of Ilex verticillata varieties they produce, to include yellow and orange berry varieties for fall cutting. They have also added viburnum and hydrangea crops for summer cutting. Ilex verticillata branches are sold by the box, 20 pounds per box. Boxes of cut branches are delivered via our truck to local customers and are palletized and shipped via common carrier to out-of-state customers.
